About COMPOST

COMPOST is a new art magazine showcasing painting, sculpture, performance, writing, dance, poetry, photography, and other art forms that elude labels. COMPOST nurtures and strengthens networks of creatives across diverse fields, and at all stages of creative life. We highlight established, underground, radical, fledgling, elder, marginalised and overlooked artists.

We are committed to creating a beautifully designed, high quality publication, with artworks reproduced as large as possible. COMPOST is a physical, printed, limited edition magazine. It does not exist online or as a shareable file.

Each issue of COMPOST has a theme. It is curated and edited by David Caines and Mary Kate Connolly; combining expertise in painting, writing, performance, graphic design and curation.

COMPOST is not-for-profit and cannot pay for submissions.

COMPOST would like to profusely thank all the contributors for giving their work free of charge.

COMPOST does not accept uninvited submissions of content.
